Minerals exploration

Exploration for the minerals the energy economy actually runs on

Minerals critical to the global energy economy, the biometals tied to the transition phase of the energy sector, industrial and other minerals, and the rare earth elements — each targeted with the electromagnetic and electrical methods that resolve it, modelled before a single field day is charged.

Commodity groups and their methods

Energy-economy critical minerals

Copper, nickel, cobalt, lithium and graphite. Conductive sulphides and brine-bearing horizons stand out sharply in time-domain and controlled-source EM, while IP separates disseminated sulphide from barren graphite.

Transition-phase biometals

Zinc, manganese, selenium, vanadium and molybdenum — the trace metals that ride with the energy transition through batteries, alloys and catalysts. Resistivity and chargeability contrasts map their host redox fronts and black-shale packages.

IP/ERT · MT/AMT · GsAMT

Rare earth elements

Carbonatite and alkaline complexes, ion-adsorption clay blankets and monazite-bearing placers. Deep MT defines the intrusive plumbing; GPR and shallow ERT trace the weathered clay profile that actually carries the grade.

Industrial and other minerals

Potash and salt, phosphate, barite, silica sand, gypsum, limestone and aggregate. Layer geometry, overburden thickness and water content decide the mine plan, and all three come out of the same electrical survey.

Precious and structural targets

Gold-bearing shear zones, quartz-vein systems and kimberlite pipes. Structure first: conductive alteration corridors and resistivity boundaries are drilled far more efficiently than surface geochemistry alone.

GsAMT · TEM/TDEM · IP/ERT

Brownfield and mine-life extension

Deep extensions beneath known ore, tailings characterisation and dewatering studies. Borehole radar and radio imaging see between existing holes, so the next metre is drilled with a picture rather than a guess.

What makes this different

A survey you can inspect, hear and follow in real time

Model the survey before it is bought

Every programme is forward-modelled in the browser first: your target depth, host resistivity and terrain go in, and the expected response comes out. If the physics cannot see the target, we say so instead of selling field days.

Depth-of-investigation honesty

Each method is quoted with the depth band and resolution it genuinely delivers on your ground, not a brochure figure. Overlapping methods are recommended only when they resolve a real ambiguity.

Inversion on the same day

Field records are inverted to a layered resistivity model as soon as they are filed, so the next line is chosen from yesterday's answer rather than at the end of the campaign.

Live client dashboard

Days filed, hours, line-kilometres, deepest reading, GPS coverage and spend against quote, on one private link — no account, no waiting for a monthly report.

Audible signal design

Operating frequencies are generated and played back, scaled into the audible band, so transmitter and receiver settings are chosen deliberately and explained to non-specialist stakeholders.

One accountable operator

The person who models the survey runs the instruments and writes the interpretation. Nothing is lost between a sales deck and the field crew.

Send us the commodity, depth and ground type

We model the expected response, recommend the method mix and come back with a survey design and an indicative programme cost.
