Terms & Conditions

Last reviewed 15 September 2026. These terms form the agreement between you and Assem Ezzat Amin, trading as AEA — Wavefield.geo (“we”, “us”), based in the United Arab Emirates. By using this site or ordering a survey you agree to them.

01

Who you are contracting with

The service is provided by Assem Ezzat Amin, a sole practitioner operating as AEA — Wavefield.geo in the United Arab Emirates. You can reach us at asemnassar13@gmail.com.

If you order on behalf of a company you confirm you are authorised to bind it. If you order as an individual you confirm you are of legal age to contract.

02

What we provide

Two things: (a) geophysical survey services — planning, field acquisition, processing and reporting using electromagnetic and electrical methods; and (b) this website’s planning tools, simulators and client portal.

The simulators and inversions on this site are illustrative forward models for planning and training. They are not calibrated measurements and are not a substitute for field acquisition or formal inversion. Survey interpretations are professional opinions based on the data acquired; the subsurface is never fully knowable from surface measurements, and drilling or excavation decisions remain yours.

03

Acceptance of these terms

Continued use of the site, creation of an account, or placing a survey order means you accept these terms and the version of the quote you were shown. We may update these terms; the version in force is the one published here when you order.

04

Your account and information

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Survey dashboard and payment links are private — anyone holding a link can see that survey’s summary, so share them only with people you intend to see it.

You must give accurate site, access and contact information and keep it current. Field planning, costing and safety depend on it.

05

Acceptable use

You must not use this site or our services to:

  • break any applicable law, licence condition or landowner restriction;
  • commit fraud, send spam, or impersonate another person or company;
  • infringe anyone’s intellectual property or confidentiality;
  • interfere with the security of the service — no malware, probing, scraping, credential stuffing, load attacks, or attempts to reach data that is not yours;
  • reverse engineer, resell, redistribute or circumvent technical limits of the software.

Field work additionally requires that you hold, or have arranged, lawful access and permits for every line we are asked to survey.

06

Intellectual property

We own the site, the simulators, the forward models as implemented, the planner, the branding and all documentation. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your own survey work within the plan or engagement you paid for.

You keep ownership of the data and content you upload. You grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to deliver the service. Survey deliverables become yours for your own use once the engagement is paid in full; we retain our underlying methods, templates and code.

07

Confidentiality and data ownership (mutual NDA)

This section is a mutual non-disclosure agreement and takes effect as soon as either party shares non-public information — including when we send you a programme, quote, dashboard link, field log or report.

Confidential information means anything non-public disclosed by either party in any form, including your site locations, licence and concession details, target commodities, drilling plans, raw and processed survey data, reports and interpretations; and our programmes, quotes, rates, models, inversion methods, workflow, source code and client information. It excludes information that is already public, that the receiving party already lawfully held, that it develops independently, or that it lawfully receives from a third party without restriction.

Obligations. Each party will keep the other’s confidential information secret, use it only to plan, deliver, pay for and evaluate the survey, protect it with at least reasonable care, and disclose it only to staff, contractors or advisers who need it and are bound by equivalent confidentiality. Neither party will publish, present or use the other’s confidential information for any competing or commercial purpose without prior written consent. Disclosure compelled by law or a regulator is permitted, with prompt notice to the other party where lawful.

Data ownership. You own your site data, uploads and the survey deliverables prepared for you, and those deliverables become yours for your own use once the engagement is paid in full. We own our methods, planner, simulators, models, code, templates and internal working files — including acquisition logs, calibration records, processing scripts and intermediate model runs — which are licensed to no one and are not part of the deliverables. We will not sell or licence your data, and we will not use it as a public case study, in marketing or in a published dataset without your prior written consent; anonymised or aggregated statistics that cannot identify you or your site are permitted.

Term, return and remedies. These obligations last for five years from disclosure, and indefinitely for anything that is a trade secret. On written request after the engagement ends, each party will delete or return the other’s confidential information, except copies it must keep by law or in routine backups. Both parties accept that money alone may not remedy a breach, so injunctive relief may be sought in addition to any other remedy. Nothing in this section transfers ownership or grants any licence beyond what is stated above.

08

Service level

We work to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Field schedules depend on weather, ground conditions, permits and equipment; dates are targets and may move for safety or access reasons.

09

Payment, subscription and refund terms

Survey engagements are quoted as a fixed amount in US dollars. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, 30% is payable as a deposit before mobilisation and the balance after the field work is complete. Invoices are issued privately by email; we never publish payment details on this site.

Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are handled by our reseller, Paddle. See Paddle’s Buyer Terms and our Refund Policy, which gives you 30 days to change your mind.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

10

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, a security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. Where practical we will warn you first and give you a chance to put it right.

When access ends you have 30 days to request an export of your survey data, after which we may delete it in line with our Privacy Notice.

11

Warranties, liability and indemnity

Field services are provided with the reasonable skill and care of a competent geophysicist. Beyond that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Our total liability arising out of or in connection with the service is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special losses, including lost profits, lost production, dry holes, lost data or loss of goodwill. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.

You indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful or unpermitted use of a site, or your breach of these terms.

12

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of the United Arab Emirates have exclusive jurisdiction. Please contact us first — most disputes are resolved with a phone call.

You may not assign this agreement without our consent. We may assign it as part of a merger, acquisition or transfer of the business. Neither party is liable for delay caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
